Modern Warfare 3 beta players are calling for Sledgehammer Games to remove a feature that they feel is “ridiculous.”

The MW3 beta is a chance for players to get an early taste of the game and share their opinions and feedback on the title for the developers, Sledgehammer Games, to take into account before the launch on November 10, 2023.

Some aren’t too happy with Modern Warfare 3’s TTK and others have expressed their opinion on the visual quality of the game, but now Reddit user ‘Senodus‘ has highlighted another issue that they are calling on the devs to remove.

The Modern Warfare 3 feature in question is teammate collision, which the Reddit user calls “ridiculous.” They call for the devs to “please disable teammates collision,” while sharing a clip of them getting pushed around by one of their team members after respawning on Rust.

While spawns have always been a focal point when it comes to community feedback for Call of Duty, the problem here is the teammate collision, which the OP and others in the comments are not happy with.

One user in the comments said “I was surprised that I didn’t see any discussion about the player collision because it feels absolutely awful in it’s current state. Really hoping to see adjustments to that by launch.”

Another comment agreed, “this was a stupid move when they added it. It’s just as stupid that it’s still there.” There are many other comments under the post expressing similar views toward teammate collision in the MW3 beta.

Clearly, players aren’t happy with the feature and would like to see it removed from the game ahead of launch. This is a great reason why beta tests are so important, as they give the devs an opportunity to amend and fix aspects of the game that players are not happy with.

We’ll have to wait and see if anything changes, as there are likely to be a plethora of tweaks for Modern Warfare 3 at launch. For now, check out the new feature that can counter Flash Grenades in MW3.
