‘Extinction’ mode spotted in the new Ghosts trailer

Lots of people have been sending us tips of a new mode that was spotted in the new Ghosts Squad trailer. At the 0:24 mark of the video, you can see a option that says ‘Play Extinction Online.’ Infinity Ward has not confirmed anything about a mode called Extinction, nor was anything mentioned about this in any previous trailers.

It appears that this could be new game mode, or it is simply an internal developer mode that they have for testing.
