Modern Warfare 3 has many SMGs to choose from, and some fit the meta better than others. Following Season 3’s buffs and nerfs, the RAM-9 received a nice buff to its sprint-to-fire speed, making it even more popular.

Taming the MW3 RAM-9’s recoil and getting some firing aim stability was vital when using the weapon, so we’ve chosen the ZEHMN35 Compensated Flash Hider, which improved accuracy and allowed me to hit more shots with ease.

Then, the SL Skeletal Vertical Grip gives the SMG a boost in handling with an improvement to ADS and sprint-to-fire speeds, as well as some vertical recoil control.

To keep you stocked up on ammo in the clip, the 40 Round Mag is perfect for taking on multiple enemies in quick succession. The HVS 3.4 Pad Stock offers some much-needed gunkick and recoil control to maintain accuracy, while the Retort 90 Grip Tape provides more of the same with a boost to control.

Some alternatives to the RAM-9 in MW3 include the HRM-9, a powerful close-range SMG with a fast-fire rate. The Renetti has taken over Rebirth Island if you’re looking for something with a fast TTK, while Assault Rifles have always been a favorite of mine, and the BP50 is a great choice.
