Despite being hit with a major nerf in the Warzone 2 Season 4 Reloaded, the ISO 45 has remained a meta pick at close range. However, CoD expert WhosImmortal has uncovered a damage glitch that puts the SMG at even more of a disadvantage.

The Warzone 2 Season 4 Reloaded update brought yet another huge overhaul to the weapon meta, introducing the new MX Guardian Shotgun and a host of buffs and nerfs. Once the patch was live, experts like JGOD also discovered that the TTKs of almost every gun had been tweaked.

One of the weapons that was hit hardest by the mid-season update was the ISO 45, which had been comfortably the most popular gun in the game throughout Season 4. But although many players left it behind in favor of the X13 Auto, it remains a strong close-range pick.

However, Warzone 2 guru WhosImmortal has discovered a damage glitch affecting the ISO 45 that seems to unintentionally nerf it even further. In a tweet, the YouTuber showed that the ISO 45 actually does more or less damage depending on which leg it hits.

He said: “Another interesting ‘bug’ with the META After Season 4 Reloaded – the ISO 45 is currently doing different damage to the upper left and upper right leg.”

The tweet featured screenshots from Sym.gg, which revealed the different damage values achieved when hitting the right leg instead of the left one over different ranges. It was three less anywhere over 8.9 meters, while the difference was four at zero to 8.9 meters, which is where the ISO 45 would normally thrive.

This may seem like a small difference, but in close-quarters gunfights where every bit of damage counts, it could put players running the SMG at a disadvantage.

At the time of writing it isn’t clear if this is an intentional change from the devs or a bug affecting the ISO 45, but we expect the issue to be fixed in the coming weeks.
