Warzone 2 expert reveals “best Assault Rifle” with high damage & low recoil

Warzone 2 expert Metaphor has revealed which deadly Assault Rifle is the best following the damage buffs it received in the Season 3 update.

When the Season 3 update went live in Warzone 2, fans of the Call of Duty title had plenty of new changes to check, including the addition of the FJX Imperium Sniper Rifle and new Operators.

Numerous weapons also received buffs and nerfs in the update, causing players to wonder which ones are the best in the game. Now, Warzone 2 guru Metaphor has highlighted an Assault Rifle that’s worth trying out.

The STB 556 received significant damage buffs in the Season 3 update, making it more effective in medium-range combat engagements when targeting your enemy’s head, lower torso, and leg.

According to Metaphor, this weapon might be “the best AR in the game right now” and he praised it for being “completely easy to use” while dishing out a ton of damage. He then revealed his loadout for the Warzone 2 STB 556.

Metaphor’s Warzone 2 STB 556 loadout

Barrel: 24.4″ Bruen S-620
Muzzle: Komodo Heavy
Optic: Cronen Mini Pro
Ammunition: 5.56 High Velocity
Magazine: 42 Round Mag

This loadout starts by buffing the weapon’s accuracy recoil control, damage range, and bullet velocity with the help of the 24.4″ Bruen S-620 barrel and Komodo Heavy muzzle, allowing you accurately take down foes at a distance.

The Cronen Mini Pro is an unobtrusive sight that can be used to pick off distant enemies. The 5.56 High Velocity ammunition buffs bullet velocity so that the weapon can shred through enemies, and the 42 Round Mag grants enough ammo to take down multiple enemies.

With this loadout, Metaphor was able to dish out a ton of pain in his first game of the day, and he described the weapon’s STB 556 Assault Rifle as an “absolute banger.” So, be sure to try it out.
