Warzone 2’s DMZ mode is thriving in Season 4 and Activision introduced important new features via updates. We’ve prepared a guide for all the DMZ upgrades and how to unlock each one of them in Warzone 2.

Activision introduced a significant range of changes to the popular Warzone 2 DMZ extraction mode. Among these changes, an important number of upgrades arrived that will help you complete missions and escape any map without fail.

These upgrades range from increased Stash size and additional weapon slots to daily urgent missions. Below, you will find each of these upgrades available in the DMZ mode introduced in Season 4, along with the details on how to unlock each upgrade.

All Stash upgrades in Warzone 2 DMZ

The main DMZ Stash upgrade is the Wallet, which provides you with increased capacity to store the money you extract from missions. Additionally, you will be able to increase the number of slots for items/keys.

Vondel arrived as a new map in Season 4.

Wallet upgrades

Unlock Wallet (Unlock the Wallet to store some extra cash)
- Requirement: Extract $100,000 in cash.
Wallet Expansion I (Expands the Wallet capacity by $150,000)
- Requirement: Reach reputation level three with White Lotus.
Wallet Expansion II (Expands the Wallet capacity by $150,000)
- Requirement: Reach reputation level four with White Lotus.
Wallet Expansion III (Expands the Wallet capacity by $150,000)
- Requirement: Reach reputation level six with White Lotus.
Wallet Expansion IV (Expands the Wallet capacity by $100,000)
- Requirement: Reputation level eight with White Lotus.
Wallet Expansion V (Expands the Wallet capacity by $100,000)
- Requirement: Reach reputation level 10 with White Lotus.

Mission items/keys slots upgrades

Stash Expansion I (Expands the mission item/key stash by five slots)
- Requirement:
  - Reach reputation level four with Black Mous.
  - Extract 10 nuclear fuel rods.
  - Extract two radiation blocker bottles.
Stash Expansion II (Expands the mission item/key stash by five slots)
- Requirement: Reach reputation level five with Black Mous.
Stash Expansion III (Expands the mission item/key stash by four slots)
- Requirement: Reach reputation level six with Black Mous.
Stash Expansion IV (Expands the mission item/key stash by three slots)
- Requirement: each reputation level eight with Black Mous.
Stash Expansion V (Expands the mission item/key stash by three slots)
- Requirement: Reach reputation level 10 with Black Mous.

Additional Stash upgrades via Crown Faction

Stash/Wallet Expansion I (Expand Wallet Capacity by $100,000 and mission item/key stash by three slots)
- Requirement: Reach reputation level four with Crown.
Stash/Wallet Expansion II (Expand Wallet Capacity by $50,000 and mission item/key stash by three slots)
- Requirement: Reach reputation level five with Crown.
Stash/Wallet Expansion III (Expand Wallet Capacity by $50,000 and mission item/key stash by two slots)
- Requirement: Reach reputation level six with Crown.
Stash/Wallet Expansion IV (Expand Wallet Capacity by $50,000 and mission item/key stash by one slot)
- Requirement: Reach reputation level eight with Crown.
Stash/Wallet Expansion V (Expand Wallet Capacity by $50,000 and mission item/key stash by one slot)
- Requirement: Reach reputation level 10 with Crown.

All Weapon Locker upgrades in Warzone 2 DMZ

The Weapon Locker upgrade allows you to add more Insured Weapon slots, increasing the number of weapons you can store and protect up to three, and also reducing the cooldown so you’ll have faster access to those weapons. You will also have an important expansion to your stash of Contraband weapons in this Call of Duty game mode.

With Weapon Lockers you can improve your DMZ experience.

Insured Slots upgrades

First Insured Slot cooldown reduction (Reduce the cooldown of the First Insured Slot by 25%)
- Requirement: Reach reputation level three with Phalanx.
First Insured Slot cooldown reduction II (Reduce the cooldown of the First Insured Slot by 25%)
- Requirement: Reach reputation level nine with Phalanx.
Unlock Second Insured Slot
- Requirements:
  - Reach reputation level four with Black Mous.
  - Extract three IFAKs found at hospitals.
  - Extract one AFAK or large medical bag.
  - Extract one enemy operator’s weapon.
Second Insured Slot cooldown reduction (Reduce the cooldown of the Second Insured Slot by 25 %)
- Requirement: Reach reputation level five with Phalanx.
Second Insured Slot cooldown reduction II (Reduce the cooldown of the Second Insured Slot by 25%)
- Requirement: Reach reputation level 12 with Phalanx.
Unlock Third Insured Slot
- Requirements:
  - Reach reputation level four with Black Mous.
  - Extract five GPUs.
  - Extract 10 gold bars.
  - Extract eight gold skulls.
  - Extract 10 enemy operator weapons.
Third Insured Slot cooldown reduction (Reduce the cooldown of the Third Insured Slot by 25 %)
- Requirement: Reach reputation level seven with Phalanx.
Third Insured Slot cooldown reduction II (Reduce the cooldown of the Third Insured Slot by 25 %)
- Requirement: Reach reputation level 15 with Phalanx.

Contraband stash upgrades

Contraband Stash Expansion (Expands the Contraband stash by five slots)
- Requirement: Reach reputation level five with Black Mous.
Contraband Stash Expansion II (Expands the Contraband stash by five slots)
- Requirement: Reach reputation level seven with Black Mous.
Contraband Stash Expansion III (Expands the Contraband stash by four slots)
- Requirement: Reach reputation level nine with Black Mous.
Contraband Stash Expansion IV (Expands the Contraband stash by three slots)
- Requirement: Reach reputation level 12 with Black Mous.
Contraband Stash Expansion V (Expands the Contraband stash by three slots)
- Requirement: Reach reputation level 15 with Black Mous.
Contraband Stash Expansion (Crown) (Expands the Contraband stash by three slots)
- Requirement: Reach reputation level five with Crown.
Contraband Stash Expansion II (Crown) (Expands the Contraband stash by three slots)
- Requirement: Reach reputation level seven with Crown.
Contraband Stash Expansion III (Crown) (Expands the Contraband stash by three slots)
- Requirement: Reach reputation level nine with Crown.
Contraband Stash Expansion IV (Crown) (Expands the Contraband stash by three slots)
- Requirement: Reach reputation level 12 with Crown.
Contraband Stash Expansion V (Crown) (Expands the Contraband stash by three slots)

All Communication Station upgrades in Warzone 2 DMZ

Upgrade the DMZ Communication Station to unlock daily urgent missions, which will give access to limited-time missions for players who accomplished them.

The TAV vehicle is key to moving through the rivers and streets of Vondel.

Black Mous daily urgent missions:
- Requirement: Extract with a full backpack with each slot filled.
White Lotus daily urgent missions:
- Requirements:
  - Complete the “Mysterious Letter” mission for the Black Mous faction
  - Extract two Al-Qatala planning diagrams or images.
Crown daily urgent missions:
- Requirement: Reach reputation level two with Crown to unlock.
Phalanx daily urgent missions:
- Requirement: Complete the “Icebreaker” mission for the Black Mous faction.
