JackFrags claims Warzone 2 SP-X 80 loadout is the new Kar98k

Popular YouTuber Jack ‘JackFrags’ Mason has found a Warzone 2 SP-X 80 loadout in Season 1 Reloaded which he claims is similar to the beloved Kar98k from the original.

Warzone 2 Season 1 Reloaded is here, bringing a much-needed update to the battle royale including a new Assault Rifle and content for DMZ.

The update also provided some balance changes, with buffs and nerfs to various weapons, attachments, and even the tuning feature. According to the Warzone 2 Season 1 Reloaded patch notes, the Tuning feature was buffed, as “most beneficial tuning value(s)” were increased, while harmful ones were decreased.

JackFrags claims this change has single-handedly allowed guns that “weren’t so good before to actually be viable now,” with one of the “most notable ones” being the SP-X 80 Sniper Rifle.

YouTuber JackFrags claims that the SP-X 80 is now “very good,” showing off a build that reminds him of the “Kar98 from MW19.”

The Tuning is essential for this Warzone 2 SP-X 80 Kar98k build, as it ultimately allows the weapon to imitate the Kar98k’s fast mobility, fire rate, and accuracy from MW19.

The .300 High Velocity rounds provide increased bullet velocity for those long-range snipes, while the Schlager Match Grip, Max DMR Precision, and FSS Ole-V Laser all give the weapon a boost in aim-down sight speed, sprint-to-fire speed, and other movement enhancements.

JackFrags also says that “you can run it with the scope on the video here, or I’d go default if you want a longer zoom.” The YouTuber states that this Warzone 2 SP-X 80 build is a “rapid firing and accurate sniper,” that also has great mobility, so definitely give it a try if you’re looking for a new Sniper Rifle to use in Warzone 2.
