The Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 Season 3 roadmap has revealed a ton of new content for both Call of Duty titles, and a 6v6 map has also been confirmed for the seasonal update.

Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 are set to receive major changes when the Season 3 update goes live on April 12, including the return of Intervention as well as the beloved Plunder game mode.

The developers revealed all the new Call of Duty content that they have planned for the Season 3 launch as well as a few additions that will be added at a later point, including a brand-new 6v6 map for Modern Warfare 2.

According to an official blog post detailing all of the new content that’s set to arrive in Modern Warfare 2, a new core map known as Alboran Hatchery will be coming to the game at some point after the Season 3 launch.

At the time of writing, the exact release date for this brand-new core map hasn’t been officially confirmed, but it’s possible that Alboran Hatchery is being saved for the Season 3 Reloaded update.

The Season 3 roadmap teases a ton of new content.

The developers did not reveal any more information about the map aside from the fact that it will allow teams of six players each to battle each other. The blog post also included an official first look at Alboran Hatchery.

The map features a hatchery that has a power station next to it, and players may also be able to visit a lighthouse that’s visible in the promotional image for Alboran Hatchery. This map will provide exciting opportunities for 6v6 battles.

We’ll keep checking for any more details about this core map as soon as they become available and will be sure to update this piece with all the information once it’s officially confirmed.
