Modern Warfare 2 invisible Shipment bug is completely breaking spawns

Shipment made its triumphant return in Modern Warfare 2 Season 1 Reloaded, and the close-quarters map is off to a shaky start as a spawn bug is ruining the game for teams.

Modern Warfare 2 camo-hunting enthusiasts have hailed the return of the legendary Shipment map in the Season 1 Reloaded update, despite camos not actually tracking properly, as the small map is back for its yearly bout of mayhem and quicker leveling-up capabilities.

It’s actually received some interesting changes this year which have affected the flow of the map, and fans have generally been full of praise for its newest incarnation.

Not everything is peachy though, as a new invisible bug is hindering the spawns for teams in every match if players aren’t aware of what they’re doing wrong.

Modern Warfare 2’s Shipment is incredibly popular as the action is non-stop and it allows players to complete challenges that would be a lot trickier on other maps. The spawn system can get a bit janky at times given that you can have 12 players all confined to a relatively tiny battlefield.

Teams during games of Shipment can become trapped in MW2 though – as Reddit user SeesThroughTime has pointed out.

The CoD fan showed off a screenshot of one of the map’s crates and explained: “Do not stand in the red circle. You will force your team to spawn in the container and they can’t get out.”

It’s evidently not a one-off with one MW2 user saying: “This happened way too many times today,” and another person adding: “Is that why sometimes I’ll see like 5-6 people all walking out at the same time? Lmao. I thought they were just a team of camo chasers.”

Unsurprisingly, the blame is squarely being aimed at the feet of the devs with one comment not holding back: “The spawns are just trash, why does it spawn the entire team in one container bro, and why are there 2 seconds of collision with team-mates?”

With Raven currently having to contend with the Loss Prevention System still not working and a Blueprint bug foregoing the need to level guns, the devs have a lot on their plate at the moment.
