Infinity Ward have confirmed that two fan-favorite Call of Duty maps are arriving in Modern Warfare 2 Season 1, so here’s when you can expect to play both Shoot House and Shipment.
After releasing on October 28, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is receiving its first major update with Season 1 on November 16. Alongside Warzone 2 and DMZ, Modern Warfare 2 receives its first Battle Pass, new weapons, new Operators, as well as the classic Shoot House and Shipment maps.
These fast-paced maps are the perfect place to earn weapon camos but they’re not arriving together at the start of the season. Here’s when both Shoot House and Shipment arrive in Modern Warfare 2’s multiplayer.
When is Shoot House coming to Modern Warfare 2?
Infinity Ward have confirmed that Shoot House will arrive in Modern Warfare 2 with the Season 1 update on November 16.
This new version of Shoot House will be situated in the jungles south of Las Almas to fit the setting of Modern Warfare 2.
Shoot House will be the perfect place to grind weapons levels and camos, as it arrives alongside the ‘Tier 1 Playlist’ Hardcore mode. The devs kept bringing Hardcore Shipment 24/7 to Modern Warfare 2 2019’s featured playlists, often alongside Shipment in ‘Shoot the Ship.’
When is Shipment coming to Modern Warfare 2?
The fan-favorite Shipment map will hit Modern Warfare 2 with the Season 1 Reloaded update on December 14.
The updated version of Shipment is “set on a cargo ship taking on water in a storm-ridden part of the Atlantic Ocean.”
Shipment has become a staple of Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer’s CoDs, being reimagined in games such as Ghosts and WWII, and arriving in the first few months of both Modern Warfare and Vanguard.
With both Shoot House and Shipment in the game from Season 1 Reloaded, the fan-favorite Shoot the Ship Playlist will also likely make its Modern Warfare 2 debut.
Season 1 Reloaded will also bring Raids to Modern Warfare 2’s Spec Ops mode, as well as Warzone 2’s “first post-launch update.”
