Modern Warfare 2 beta leaks have revealed gameplay footage of a variety of weapons that players were locked out of during the early access on PlayStation.

The Modern Warfare 2 early access for PlayStation ended on September 20, but players are excited to experience the second weekend of the beta, especially those on Xbox and PC who missed out.

The beta gave players a taste of what they will experience come October 28, and although beta feedback wasn’t exactly impactful, with Infinity Ward doubling down on the removal of the classic minimap and new Perk system, most in the community can see an improvement from Modern Warfare 2019 and Warzone.

While the second weekend of the beta will allow players to unlock more weapons through a level increase, it seems a player has found a way to gain access to the locked weapons, showing gameplay of them in the Modern Warfare 2 subreddit.

Reddit user Gianji90 is the one responsible for the weapon leaks, posting a video of a variety of unseen weapons in the Modern Warfare 2 beta, showing gameplay of how they look.

The leaked weapons include:

  • PP19 Vityaz
  • PP19 Bizon
  • Barret MRAD
  • RPG-7
  • Remington 870
  • Browning 725
  • AK 105
  • AK 103
  • SCAR-H
  • MP7
  • RPK
  • Desert Eagle

Some of these weapons are recognizable from Modern Warfare 2019, so there’s no surprise to see them in Modern Warfare 2, especially the PP19 Bizon, RPG-7, and MP7.

However, weapons like the AK 105/103 and PP19 Vityaz seem to be weapons that will be available through the new Receiver system in the Gunsmith. This opens up a lot of potential for new variations of weapons that players are already familiar with.

Remember, this isn’t all of the weapons the game has to offer either, so expect even more of a selection when the game officially launches on October 28.
