Best TAQ-V loadout for Modern Warfare 2 Season 1

Here are all of the attachments and Perks you need to build the best TAQ-V loadout in Modern Warfare 2 Season 1.

TAQ-V Modern Warfare 2

Modern Warfare 2’s TAQ-V is a versatile Battle Rifle that excels at medium to long range. Here’s the best TAQ-V loadout for Modern Warfare 2 Season 1.

Call of Duty players are spoilt with so many weapon options in Modern Warfare 2. The options to run and gun with an SMG or dominate a lane with a Sniper Rifle have never been more accessible, but where do Battle Rifles fit in?

Battle Rifles are a new weapon category that debuted in Modern Warfare 2 and they deliver a set of weapons that hit extremely hard. The TAQ-V is a great place to start considering it shares similarities with the popular TAQ-56 Assault Rifle.

Here’s the best TAQ-V loadout for Modern Warfare 2 Season 1.

Best Modern Warfare 2 TAQ-V loadout attachments

  • Muzzle: Polarfire-S
  • Laser: Schlager Peq Box IV
  • Underbarrel: Commando Foregrip
  • Rear Grip: Demo Cleanshot Grip
  • Magazine: 30 Round Mag

While the TAQ-V Battle Rifle may look like the TAQ-56, it’s certainly a heavier weapon to wield. Therefore, we’ll look to use movement and aim-down-sight boosting Modern Warfare 2 attachments to make the TAQ-V a little snappier.

The Schlager Peq Box IV and Demo Cleanshot Grip will drastically increase your ADS speed, making the TAQ-V feel more like the FN SCAR-H that it’s modeled after.

The Commando Foregrip will stabilize the weapon with increased recoil control. Meanwhile, the Polarfire-S Muzzle is incredibly valuable as it suppresses the TAQ-V, and increases the damage range, bullet velocity, and recoil smoothness.

The TAQ-V only holds 20 rounds in its standard magazine, thus we’re looking to boost that below-average amount with the 30 Round Mag attachment.

Best Perks & Equipment for Modern Warfare 2 TAQ-V loadout

  • Base Perk 1: Bomb Squad
  • Base Perk 2: Double Time
  • Bonus Perk: Fast Hands
  • Ultimate Perk: Quick Fix
  • Tactical Equipment: Flash Grenade
  • Lethal Equipment: Frag Grenade
  • Field Upgrade: Dead Silence

Double Time and Dead Silence will combine to further counteract the weight of the TAQ-V. Thanks to the Base Perk and Field Upgrade, you’ll be zooming around most Modern Warfare 2 maps.

Bomb Squad will keep you safe from the countless explosives flying across the map, while Fast Hands will make reloading that 30 Round Mag a simple task.

Ghost is definitely a fantastic Ultimate Perk given how common UAVs are, but Quick Fix is a fun alternative as it’ll allow you to really play your life and aim for some lofty Killstreaks.

The Flash Grenade and its blinding effect are incredibly powerful thus it’s a no-brainer as your Tactical of choice, and a well-timed Frag Grenade is perfect for clearing out objectives.
