Baldur’s Gate 3 players claim Minthara feels “incomplete” compared to other companions

Baldur’s Gate 3 players think that Minthara is still in early access and is still incomplete even after the latest hotfix in Patch 6.

The companions in Baldur’s Gate 3 have been claimed to be one of the best-written characters in RPG history, and players have been quite mesmerized by their intricate storyline and character design. With a massive focus on turn-based combat, BG3 is all about working together in tandem with your team.

Despite being a rather evil character, Minthara has been one of the most sought-after companions in Baldur’s Gate 3. The player wanted her so much in their party that the devs released several new ways of recruiting her without necessarily murdering everyone in Act 1.

However, some players feel that Minthara is yet not complete, as Reddit user ‘PerdiMeuHeadphone’ claimed: “Let’s be real. Minthara is still in EA (early access).” The OP clarified their opinion as they said: “Even if you play with her in ‘Slaughter the Grove run’ she feels a bit incomplete compared to even Jaheira and Minsc.”

“Yeah, Minthara is bugged.  She mentioned that Gales’s plan to go nova against the absolute is crazy. I have killed Gale before even joining the party, and she says that in Act 3, said a player.

In the latest hotfix, Larian have included a new Minthara dialogue where she breaks up with Durge if the character gives up on their evil dreams, as the game goes deeper into her character. However, that does not help her escape the “bugged” allegations in Baldur’s Gate 3, and players are still waiting for fixes.

“Minthara has been in varying states of broken since launch. At this point, I’m really hoping they do a bigger patch centered around her. Expand on her content, and finally iron everything wrong with her dialogue trees out,” said a player.

“Larian can fix her,” claimed another player sarcastically as others were waiting for the devs to expand more around her character. “Bruh she keeps spoiling the story for me. I mean this is my 5th playthrough but she keeps bringing up the emperor way before I get to that part,” added another player.
