Baldur’s Gate 3 is well known for its attention to detail and hidden features as one player spots a unique feature related to the Shar Temple in Act 1 itself.

Many consider Baldur’s Gate 3 to be one of the most successful titles in recent times due to its expansive storyline and intricate character design. With such qualities and a large player count, it being 2023’s Game of the Year isn’t all that surprising.

It seems like Larian Studios have done a splendid job incorporating hidden features and details into the game, as players are still finding new secrets to discuss in the community.

Reddit user ‘Alright_Fine_Ask_Me’ posted about this in the Baldur’s Gate 3 subreddit as they pointed out how players can “see the entrance to the Temple of Shar” while exploring the back of the Grymforge area in Act 1.

“This might not be new to most. But this game constantly amazes me,” said the OP as they revealed how they found out this detail. “It never occurred to me that these two Shar Temples were just all connected at some point in BG3 lore,” they added.

The Shar Temple that players can see from Grymforge is accessible later in their playthrough, and it is not possible to reach the gates. Even though the entrance might look traceable, it will just result in death if players wish to go further in Baldur’s Gate 3.

Other players added their knowledge about the subject as well, and one of them said: “Yurgir was the one who most likely broke the bridge on the hunt for the Justiciars.” Some even went ahead and praised the storytelling of the title as they claimed they felt “like Sherlock Holmes” while discovering this.

As it was impossible to climb down to the Shar Temple entrance in Baldur’s Gate 3, some even felt “let down” as they tried using skills like Feather Fall to reach there. Others even revealed how Grymforge was the temple of Shar, “just repurposed” with a broken bridge in between.
