Assassin’s Creed Mirage features a wanted system that is reminiscent of previous titles in the series. The more crimes players commit, the more notoriety they gain. With this in mind, here’s how to reduce notoriety in Assassin’s Creed Mirage.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage brings back many of the features that fans have adored from previous titles. From the game’s setting to neat Easter eggs, the latest offering from Ubisoft pays homage to the series’ roots. Players take control of Basim in Assassin’s Creed Mirage‘s main story and learn about the foundations of The Hidden Ones.

Along the way, they can engage in some classic stealth action which can naturally land them in trouble. Committing crimes in the game leads to players earning notoriety, which essentially acts as a wanted level. The higher the level, the more intensely the guards will chase after Basim. These confrontations can get pretty difficult, especially at the highest notoriety level.

Here’s how to reduce notoriety in Assassin’s Creed Mirage.

How to reduce notoriety in Assassin’s Creed Mirage

There are two ways to reduce notoriety in Assassin’s Creed Mirage:

  1. Finding and removing wanted posters spread around the city.
  2. Bribing a Munadi to remove your notoriety in exchange for a Power Token.

Finding and removing wanted posters is relatively simple. Just look out for crowds gathered near a wall and you should find a wanted poster nearby. Each wanted poster reduces notoriety by one level. However, finding three of them while having a target on your back can be pretty tricky.

Bribing a Munadi is the quickest way of reducing notoriety in Assassin’s Creed Mirage.

This makes bribing town criers known as Munadi a more viable way of reducing notoriety. They will clear your name in exchange for a rare currency known as Power Tokens. These tokens can be earned by completing side quests.

Both methods have their constraints, so it’s best to look for wanted posters while dealing with a notoriety level of one or two. In the case of level three notoriety, bribing a Munadi is ideal as they quickly wipe your slate clean.

That was how to reduce notoriety in Assassin’s Creed Mirage. For more on the game, check out our other guides:
