Assassin’s Creed is back to its sleuthy and stabby ways with Assassin’s Creed Mirage, but what does its return to roots mean for its map size? Here’s all you need to know about Assassin’s Creed Mirage’s Baghdad map size, as well as how it fares with other entries in the series.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage has brought the assassins back into the series in a more tightly-packed city of Baghdad instead of sprawling Greece or England. No more throwing axes or poking spears this time, only the good ‘ol Hidden Blade.

It is short and sweet, a homage to the original Assassin’s Creed games before the series inevitably returns to the newfound RPG route with Codename Red and the AAA mobile game, Assassin’s Creed Jade.

So, here’s how big of a historical playground Assassin’s Creed Mirage has.

Baghdad is more denser and has a higher NPC density than Egypt, Greece, and England.

How big is Assassin’s Creed Mirage’s map?

Assassin’s Creed Mirage’s map size is roughly the same as Constantinople in Assassin’s Creed Revelations and Paris in Assassin’s Creed Unity.

In terms of exact length, Assassin’s Creed Mirage Baghdad is 2.3km² with the playable area amassing 13km².

In comparison, Paris in Assassin’s Creed Unity stands at 2.4km² and RPG entries Valhalla and Odyssey stand at 120km² and 256km² respectively, making Assassin’s Creed Mirage considerably smaller than past Assassin’s Creed RPG titles and more in line with original games.

Its size isn’t surprising, as Assassin’s Creed Mirage was originally intended as a DLC for Valhalla and was priced less than mainline Assassin’s Creed games at launch, reflecting its scope.
