Arguably the most sought-after and difficult cosmetics to obtain in Apex Legends are in the Mythic store. New Prestige Skins and Heirlooms can be bought through Collection Events each season, and while this is the easiest way to get them, it’ll cost you big bucks.

So, many choose to instead try their luck with Apex Packs, in hopes of getting some Heirloom Shards to spend on the Heirloom or Prestige Skin of their choice in the Mythic Store. For those unaware, players have a less than 1% chance of getting Heirloom Shards in a pack, but players are guaranteed to get them every 500th pack.

With that said, it may leave you wondering how close you are to your 500th Apex Pack opening, or perhaps you’re just curious as to how many you’ve opened.

Here’s how to calculate how many packs you have opened in Apex Legends.

There is no way for you to see the exact number of packs you’ve opened in Apex Legends in-game. However, coder Mike Zarandona has developed a website for players to get a rough calculation of the amount they may have opened, and how close they are to an Heirloom.

You can calculate how many Apex Packs you have opened and how close you are to your 500th pack and Heirloom Shards in Apex Legends by using Mike Zarandona’s Apex Legends Pack calculator. Follow these steps to figure out a rough estimate of how many packs you have opened in Apex Legends:

Head to Mike Zarandona’s Apex Legends Pack Calculator.
Head to the “Activity” section.
Enter your Account Level and the number of packs purchased.
Next, go through each season and tick whether you purchased the Battle Pass and which tier you managed to reach. You’ll also need to enter how many Treasure Packs you earned.
Then, once you fill out all of the information required, head to the “Progress” tab.
Here, you’ll see a complete breakdown of how many Apex Legends Packs you have opened, and how close you are to 500 packs and an Heirloom.

If you are above level 500 you can adjust your level tier in the settings of the website. Keep in mind that Collection Event Packs do not count towards your 500, so it’s best to leave that out when filling in the information on the pack calculator website.
