The Apex Legends Mobile Closed Beta has been released in multiple regions now, and players love it. We’ve got all the details on Respawn’s mobile version of Apex, from how to register to the Legends and maps to expect.

Apex Legends is in Season 10 for PC and console, but now it seems mobile gamers will also be getting in on the action, with Apex Legends Mobile being set to release this year.

Apex Legends was also released on Nintendo Switch in March 2021, increasing its player count to another platform.

Before the official launch of Apex Legends Mobile, the developers have been rolling out the Closed Beta for specific regions to test the game. Here are all the details so far.

The first of a series of beta tests for Apex Legends Mobile was released back in April for residents in India to enjoy, allowing some gamers to escape the reality of the COVID crisis for just a few hours.

Mobile gaming is extremely popular in the Asian continent. With India being the second largest country in Asia, it seems the perfect place to test Apex Legends Mobile beta.

EA announced on their website that they would be starting with smaller Closed Beta tests in India and the Philippines. They also said that they would look to expand the beta, adding new regions and iOS support if the tests go well, as currently, the beta is only available for Android.

As of September 2021, the beta is available in five regions, with more set to come very soon. Check out our article on all of the regions the Apex Legends Closed Beta is available in to see if you’re eligible.

For those who want to register for when the beta expands to other regions, you’ll be able to sign up for it on the Google Play Store page, which will inform you when it is available to play in your location.

The Closed Beta is a first-come, first-serve system, meaning the places are limited, so make sure to register if you are interested. They did announce that once the beta is expanded, they will “launch a page that allows you to pre-register for the game and sign up for news about the betas.”

Just like the console and PC versions, Apex Legends Mobile will be free-to-play when it officially releases. Apex Legends Mobile is being developed to be available on various devices and model versions, but the beta is specifically for Androids running the 6.0 version and up.

Another big piece of news from the announcement is that Apex Legends Mobile will not only be a stand-alone game, not featuring cross-platform, but it will also have the option of third-person.

What maps and Legends are available?

Currently, only the World’s Edge map is available for Apex Legends Mobile. However, they mention plans to add more, and some leaks from dataminers have revealed some exciting developments.

It seems Apex Legends Mobile will also be getting the new Arena mode, with exclusive maps just for the mobile version that won’t be seen on the PC and console.

Further, the most recent update to Apex Legends Mobile saw a new 6v6 Team Deathmatch mode on the map Artillery, which may also be coming for console and PC in the future.

Further, the only Legends currently available in the Indian Closed Beta are Bloodhound, Gibraltar, Lifeline, Wraith, Bangalore, Caustic, Octane, and Wattson. However, one of the screenshots used for promotion has Revenant in it, so the community suspects more Legends could be added in the future.
