Respawn EntertainmentApex Legends Season 18 lands with the Death Dynasty Collection Event, which brings exciting new content such as Revenant’s second Heirloom, Double XP, and a full set of new cosmetics.
The Apex Legends Season 18 update is bringing some exciting content to the game, refreshing the meta with buffs and nerfs, while also introducing a massive rework for Assault Legend Revenant which could see the character rise in popularity.
A new season also means new events, and things are kicking off straight away with the Death Dynasty Collection Event. So, here’s everything you need to know about the Apex Legends Death Dynasty Collection Event, including the release date, Revenant’s Heirloom recolor, skins, and more.
Apex Legends Death Dynasty Collection Event release date
The Season 18 Death Dynasty Collection Event for Apex will launch on August 8 with the new season at around 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET / 6 PM BST. The event will last two weeks, ending on August 22, 2023.
There will be 24 limited-time cosmetics available during the Death Dynasty Collection Event, as well as a new Heirloom, so make sure you tune in while it’s live to check it all out.

The Death Dynasty Collection Event will bring yet another set of 24 cosmetic items to Apex Legends, along with a new Heirloom, which is actually a recolor for Revenant’s.
Much like Wraith’s Heirloom recolor, Revenant will be getting similar treatment, as the Season 18 Death Dynasty Collection Event introduces players to Revenant’s Death Grip Heirloom, which is automatically unlocked for players after obtaining all 24 Collection Event items.

There will also be free rewards up for grabs through the Death Dynasty reward tracker, where players will need to earn Event Points by completing Challenges to earn the rewards.
Apex Legends Double XP during Death Dynasty Collection Event
During the Death Dynasty Collection Event in Apex Legends, players can enjoy a period of Double XP in battle royale and the Mixtape playlist.
Double XP will run from August 8 to 15 for battle royale, and from August 15 to 22 in the Mixtape playlist.
Make sure you tune in during this period to level up your account level as fast as possible, gaining Apex Packs along the way. The Double XP will not affect your Battle Pass level, as you can only go up in tiers by getting Battle Pass Stars.
