After being in development for so long, it’s fair to say that the anticipation and excitement for Hogwarts Legacy are reaching an incredible fever pitch. Fans are salivating at the prospect of being able to pick their dream house and visiting a ton of the series’ most iconic locations.

Does Hogwarts Legacy have microtransactions?
If you’re interested in purchasing Hogwarts Legacy, then you might be pleased to hear that Hogwarts Legacy will feature no microtransactions in any way, shape, or form.
In a detailed Q&A regarding many facets of the game, the devs addressed the notion of microtransactions. Their answer to the question “Are there micro-transactions in Hogwarts Legacy?” simply replied: “There are no micro-transactions in Hogwarts Legacy.”
Meaning that you will pay the traditional one-off fee to purchase the game, and then all the content for Hogwarts Legacy will be available in the game for players to explore and unlock from the get-go.
Leaks and rumors have suggested that potential Hogwarts Legacy DLC will release much later down the line, so we’ll have to wait and see. For the time being though, fans can rest easy knowing that they won’t be tempted to shell out extra money via microtransactions in Hogwarts Legacy.
