In Starfield, traits play an important customization role that will define how you approach various challenges in-game. From how you choose to explore, to how you decide to live on the planets you visit, traits will play a major role.

Here is every trait in Starfield and their respective effects.

What are traits in Starfield?

In Starfield, you get the option to select up to three traits during character creation. Traits are special abilities that your character will have when you start your adventure in Starfield.

All traits add positive and negative effects to your characters, so keep that in mind before selecting a random bunch of them. Additionally, all traits have a related quest or activity, so this adds a lot of diversity to character creation.

We have compiled a full list of all the traits revealed so far and their effects.
