Pokemon Scarlet & Violet players spot “mind-blowing” Oranguru link to new Mythical

Speculation on the new Mythical of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet took a shocking turn when fans noticed some connections between Ogerpon, Terapagos, Pecharunt, and a Pokemon no one expected, Oranguru.

With hints of a new Mythical appearing in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, players are on the edge of their seats as they hope that the species will solve many mysteries surrounding Area Zero, the injury of Arven’s Mabosstiff, and the unknown ‘Gorilla Pokemon‘ in the Scarlet/Violet book.

As fans look for Easter eggs about the addition, they have found many unexpected details hidden in plain sight from a Pokemon no one ever thought of before, the Normal/Psychic-type Oranguru.

A user named ‘Light_88_’ on the X posted: “WAIT A MOMENT, WAS IN FRONT OF US ALL THE TIME?” while detailing how Oranguru has a yellow spark on its forehead matching the Terastallization symbol and the golden color of the new Mythical.

Additionally, the OP also mentioned that Oranguru’s Pokedex entries and the yellow symbol are in line with the ‘man’ who was with Ogerpon in the Kitakami lore.

The post instantly caught the attention of several Pokemon Scarlet and Violet players who were convinced that the OP was onto something solid.

A user wrote: “Maybe it’s like how Diancie is related to Carbink without being an evolution/alternate form,” while another stated that it could be a different form of Oranguru like Bloodmoon Ursaluna.

Coming to the Pokedex entries of the Pokemon, a trainer commented: “According to the dex, Oranguru can actually use Poke Balls, so one could actually be [the] Ogerpon trainer,” as that person also had a distinct yellow symbol on their forehead.

If these finds weren’t intriguing already, a player added: “The star of shiny Oranguru is blue, much like the blue star of the Hidden Treasure of Area Zero logo, which represents Terapagos.”

Some trainers also highlighted that they expect a Paradox Oranguru as the new Mythical. You should also know that a few other fans are convinced that a new Paradox Pokemon is set to be added to Scarlet and Violet since the Normal type is the only one not included in the current Paradox species.
