A Pokemon Scarlet and Violet player had a close encounter of the Garchomp kind and shared this spooky moment with other players. And here’s how the Pokemon community reacted to their post.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet have been rolling out a series of spooky Halloween Events, including a Massive Outbreak and the Mismagius Raid. However, some players are having other intense scary moments that do not involve Pokemon of the Ghost Type.

A Pokemon Scarlet and Violet player had a close encounter with a wild Garchomp and shared this screenshot with the Reddit community. The players immediately created all sorts of crazy explanations for the Pokemon’s behavior.

According to ‘SystematicSinner’ this happened after he got out of the overlay Box menu in the game: “I closed my boxes and this dude came out of nowhere. I’m scared to move because I don’t wanna battle it.”

One of the trainers who saw this post quickly caught up with a cool Jurassic Park reference: “Don’t move a muscle” While other players are trying to explain Garchomp’s intentions: “Aww he just wants a cuddle!”

A Pokemon Scarlet player also suggested that Garchomp might been trying to communicate something important to the player: “We’ve been trying to reach you about your car’s extended warranty.” And another trainer answered: “Correction… about your Koraidon’s extended warranty.”

Garchomp is a Pokemon who is said to be able to fly at Mach speed, plus, he’s a sand-shark and a Dragon-Type to boot. It has one of the most intimidating designs in the whole game, so it’s no wonder this trainer felt overwhelmed by this close encounter.

While this sure is a funny and scary moment, trainers are also preparing themselves to tackle the next Tera Raid Battle event, so for them, here’s a complete guide for Hisuian Thyplosion Tera Raid Battle.
