The BB (Blueberry) Elite Four in the Indigo Disk DLC of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are getting praised by fans for being challenging, exciting, and a “learning experience” for those who want bigger and better battles in their adventure.

One of the best parts of any mainline Pokemon game is the Elite Four, a group of powerful trainers you must beat to face the region’s champion.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet presented an impressive Elite Four with the Terastallization phenomenon taking battles to the next level but players appeared to be looking for more, wanting more opportunities for strategizing and team building.

Now, the Indigo Disk DLC appears to be everything the community desired, as the Blueberry Academy Elite Four poses a greater challenge than all their peers in previous Pokemon games, and fans cannot stop raving about it.

Reddit user ‘pisces2003’ wrote: “You know what I love about the BB league?” in a post where they appreciated how the Elite Four teams were built to promote strategy among players.

The post sparked comments from several users who were in awe of how challenging the BB Elite Four is in the Indigo Disk DLC of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

Players commented: “Definitely one of the best Elite Fours I’ve played against, even if you have level 90-100s you’d find these battles challenging because there’s some real strategy for some of them,” as well as: “The game is much more exciting and challenging.”

The decision to make the Elite Four double battles has sat down pretty well with players, as one mentioned: “Focusing on double battles really helps add to the strategy and general challenge, so that was a great decision.”

Double battles are tougher and require more strategizing than single battles.

Others highlighted how the various battle mechanics and diversity in strategies would benefit the community.

“This is how major battles in Pokémon should be. Give the trainer a main type but also give them a strategy also and Pokémon that are of a different type that fit the strategy,” a trainer explained while adding:

“Trick Room, Weather, Hyper Offense, etc. This would make things a lot more interesting and encourage people to actually become good at battling.”

The BB Elite Four has proven to be the most difficult one to date and it appears that trainers would welcome similar battles in future Pokemon games.
