Pokemon Scarlet & Violet player hilariously Sucker Punched out of camera mode

Pokemon Scarlet & Violet is filled with funny moments, even more so with the latest Epilogue Quest, praised by many players as the funniest DLC quest ever. Trainers often share their fails and stressful shiny catching moments with the community, which leads to even funnier beats.
And though photo bombs are common in Gen 9 Games, a Pokemon trainer had his own epic fail moment, courtesy of their beloved Lucario, who woke up one day and decided it didn’t want to be on the Party’s photo portrait.
This was shared by Reddit user ‘dimsumlasagna,’ who captured the moment in a video and stated: “Did you know that your Pokemon could punch you out of camera mode? Because I did not.”
Pokemon Scarlet & Violet players started to swarm the OP’s post stating that “Lucario is not a fan of selfies,” and clearly “did not want his picture taken.” One of them went as far as to say: “Please avoid using flash photography, it could startle the Pokemon and cause them to act erratically.”
One of the players believed that Lucario was just concerned by its trainer’s behavior, and didn’t want her to stray off the path: “You. Will. Not. Indulge. In. Cam. Girl. Life!”- they commented.
Meanwhile, user ‘RealMrHater’ has a perfect explanation as to why this happened: “One of the mechanics in this game is that you can’t be moving with a menu open, and if something caused you to move it would close your menu, so Lucario punching the ball below your feet caused you to move, thus closing the camera menu. A very funny clip nonetheless.”
So there you have it, next time you are taking a photo in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet, remember that Photo Mode and playing with Balls in Picnic mode are a bad combo.
