As one of the most popular mobile games, Pokemon Go is still undergoing constant changes. But some features have been flagged as counter-intuitive and annoying by the fans. Here’s what the players think about the Campfire Widget.

Pokemon Go players are constantly struggling to find a balance between the things they like and the things they would like gone from the popular mobile game. And though many Pokemon trainers are enjoying Timeless Travels, others would wish some of the features of the game could be changed.

For some players, one of the most annoying and useless features in the game is the Campfire Widget (AKA Campfire Button) you can find on the upper-right section of the screen.

And now, some Pokemon Go trainers are calling out for a change in this particular feature.

Reddit user ‘Seggule’ was one of the first to take this complaint to Reddit by posting: “How do I make this button go away? I hate it and I need it gone.” Of course, most of the trainers agreed with the OP’s complaint by saying: “Most useless feature ever.” And: “Niantic doesn’t understand management of screen clutter.”

Other players’ disgust with Campire goes beyond mere annoyance. This is what one of the Pokemon Go users had to say about the in-game group-finding feature: “A slow app with no purpose and incomprehensible UI design that interrupts your game and makes it start over when you accidentally tap on it.”

Meanwhile, some players believe the group finder’s main purpose is to drain your remote passes. One of them was considerably angry at the fact that the pairing always takes you to an unreachable raid instead of one in your area: “Every time you use Campfire It pairs you with people at 800 KM instead of with people next block. Genius!”

We will keep you posted in case Niantic implements any changes to this game feature. In the meantime, you can check what’s going on with Pokemon Go on the upcoming Community Day Event, and the debut of Hisuian Typhlosion in Raids.
