Players are always flexing their rare catches and small victories against Pokemon Go’s RNG, and in this case, a player has managed such a rare catch streak that it’s comparable to winning the lottery.

Pokemon Go players are constantly struggling against the game’s unforgiving random spawn mechanics, and trying to get a rare Pokemon by itself is quite a feat. But to get a rare Pokemon with perfect stats, that’s a different kettle of fish.

Hundos are Pokemon with 100% IVs that can be discovered through Pokemon Go’s Appraise feature. Trainers are always looking to add these Pokemon to their collections, either to level them up for PvE or PvP activities or just to complete their Pokedex with the best of the best.

A trainer managed an incredible Hundo streak and took it to Reddit to celebrate their feat.

The Pokemon Go trainer and Reddit user ‘ComposerAndPianist’ shared his incredible luck on Reddit, and the community celebrated their impressive victory: “Buying a Lottery Ticket Today.”

ComposerAndPianist lucky streak yielded them not one, but three Perfect IV Pokemon. One of them was the Unique Pokemon Meltan, which can only be obtained by triggering the Mystery Box item to force its spawn. One of the players commenting on the OP said: “I hate you with all my heart. Congratulations.”

As another Pokemon Go trainer expressed: “Catching a Pokemon as a hundo, that is 1 in 10000. A Meltan, one of the rarest of the Pokedex and a hundo at that… 1 in 10000000, yeah, def go for a lottery ticket next!” Meanwhile, another trainer added: “Goddamn, I had to catch over 3500 Meltan to get my perfect.”

And though this lucky trainer might be on their way to buying that lottery ticket to keep his luck rolling, trainers should look forward to the upcoming Pokemon Go Tour Sinnoh 2024 and the new Pokemon Go season: Timeless Travels.
