A new Raid Day has been announced and it features the worldwide debut of Mega Lucario in Pokemon Go. Here’s everything you need to know about the highly anticipated event.

Ultra Unlock: Mega Lucario Raid Day date & time

The Mega Lucario Raid Day will take place on Saturday, July 27, 2024, from 11 AM to 5 PM (local time).

Mega Lucario will headline 4-Star Raids in Pokemon Go, and trainers who catch it will get one that knows the Fighting-type Fast Attack Force Palm.

Mega Lucario Raid Day bonuses

  • Mega Lucario will appear more frequently in Raids
  • Receive up to five additional free Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs
  • Increased chance of encountering shiny Lucario
  • 1.5x more XP from Raid Battles
  • Increased chance to get Rare Candy XL from in-person Raid Battles
  • The Remote Raid limit will be increased to 20

Pokemon Go Mega Lucario Raid Day event ticket

For US$5.00 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency), Pokemon Go players can purchase a ticket that grants additional bonuses during the Mega Lucario Raid Day:

  • Eight additional Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs

Yes, you can get a shiny Mega Lucario in Pokemon Go starting on July 27 if you Mega Evolve shiny Lucario with enough Lucario Mega Energy.
