The Teal Mask brought back several Pokemon from the first Generation, and trainers are wondering if Kanto Tauros is also included in the Pokemon Scarlet & Violet DLC.

To get Kanto Tauros in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet The Teal Mask you need to breed Paldean Tauros. Follow these steps to get Kanto Tauros in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet:

Have a Paldean Tauros female and male in your party, or one of them and a Ditto.
Hold a Picnic in Kitakami.
Wait until they lay an Egg, and you will find it in your Picnic Basket.
Take the Egg from the Box to your inventory and move around until it hatches.
When the egg hatches in Kitakami, it will be a Kanto Tauros.

Keep in mind that this trick is currently the only way to get Kanto Tauros in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet The Teal Mask. You cannot catch it in the wild and transfering with Pokemon Home from other games doesn’t seem to work for the moment.

Remember that you can improve your chances of getting an Egg in your Picnic by consuming food that enhances your Egg finding chances like the Pinnap Berry Candy you can buy in the Kitakami Hall food stalls.

Pokemon Violet DLC The Teal Mask Kanto Tauros

When your Tauros Egg hatches in Kitakami, you will obtain a Tauros from Kanto instead of a Paldean one.
