So, here’s all you need to know about the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Slither Wing and Iron Moth Tera Raid event.

Pokemon Scarlet & Violet Slither Wing and Iron Moth Tera Raid date & time

Best counters for Pokemon Scarlet & Violet Slither Wing Tera Raid

The best counters to face Slither Wing Tera Raid in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are Annihilape, Azumarill, and Skeledirge.

Slither Wing in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet
Slither Wing is one of the Paradox forms of Volcarona, and it’s a Bug/Fighting-type Pokemon.

Annihilape is an all-rounder counter and resists Bug, Poison, and Fighting Type moves. Since Slither Wing is a Bug/Fighting-type and Iron Moth is a Fire/Poison-type Pokemon, this is your best choice to face both Tera Raids. The ideal moveset would be Rage Fist, Close Combat, Bulk Up, and Drain Punch. You can equip Annihilape with the held item Metronome, to maximize Rage Fist damage.

Azumarill is a good choice too. You need to have a Shell Bell equipped on it to give it a recovery per turn and use Belly Drum to drop its health and maximize attack output. Helping Hand is a good support move you can use as well if you want to switch from attack to aid your allies. Finally, pick Liquidation and Play Rough as your attack moves.

Skeledirge, equipped with Throat Spray held item, and with the following moves: Torch Song, Shadow Ball, Yawn, and Slack Off is a great choice too. Use Yawn on your first turn to nullify Slither Wing’s early rounds. Boost your Sp. Attack using Torch Song and Slack Off to recover in case of emergency. Blast away with Shadow Ball once Sp. Attack is maxed out.

Best counters for Pokemon Scarlet & Violet Iron Moth Tera Raid

The best counters to face Iron Moth Tera Raid in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are Ursaluna, Ceruledge, and Garchomp.

Iron Moth in Pokemon S&V
Iron Moth is a Fire/Poison-type Paradox Pokemon.

Ursaluna with the Guts ability and the Belly Drum/Facade combo is a one-shooter for this Raid Battle. Make sure you survive long enough to ensure you reach your second turn and you’ll cook Iron Moth with just one usage of Facade. Remember you can catch an OP high-level Bloodmoon Ursaluna in The Teal Mask DLC.

Ceruledge can be another good option if you don’t have Ursaluna with you. Equip it with Leftovers as held item for recovery, then use the following moveset: Bitter Blade, Phantom Force, Shadow Claw, and Swords Dance. Pile up damage with Sword Dance for 2 turns, then go fast and strong with the best combo between those three moves as you deem fit.

Garchomp has been always a good option for Tera Raid Battles, and as with Ceruledge, it has Swords Dance as the main buff move. Then you can go with Iron Head or Earthquake. You should go with Iron Head, as it has a chance of causing flinching, but Earthquake has superior Total Damage Output.

And that’s all you need to know to beat the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Slither Wing and Iron Moth Tera Raid event.
