Fezandipiti in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

Fezandipiti is a Legendary Pokemon part of the Loyal Three, and here is everything you need to know about its weaknesses, strengths, and resistances to add it to your team.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet introduced players to a whole new generation of Pokemon species, and its DLC added even more unique creatures to the franchise. Fezandipiti is one of the latest Legendary Pokemon added to the Pokedex, and its type combination and ability make it an interesting ally in battle.

Here’s everything you need to know about Fezandipiti’s weaknesses, resistances, and strengths in Pokemon, alongside its best moveset.

Fezandipiti weaknesses in Pokemon explained

Fezandipiti is a Poison/Fairy-type Pokemon weak to Ground, Steel, and Psychic-type moves. This type combination is pretty rare and only shared with Galarian Weezing, so it’s easy to catch opponents off-guard.

Fezandipiti resistances in Pokemon explained

In Pokemon, Fezandipiti can resist Fighting, Bug, Grass, Dark, and Fairy-type attacks, and it’s immune to Dragon-type moves. You should note that Fezandipiti has a double resistance (1/4x) to Fighting and Bug-type attacks, as both Fairy and Poison types can resist them.

What’s more, Fezandipiti boasts a Sp. Defense of 125, which means you should only worry about physical attackers.

The Loyal Three introduced the Toxic Chain ability to the Pokemon franchise.

Fezandipiti strengths in Pokemon explained

Fezandipiti deals super-effective damage to Grass, Fairy, Fighting, Dragon, and Dark-type Pokemon with its Poison and Fairy-type STAB (Same Type Attack Bonus) moves.

It can learn some Normal, Flying, and Dark-type moves by leveling up as well, so you can build it with a pretty robust moveset in Scarlet and Violet.

Best Fezandipiti moves in Pokemon

The best moves for Fezandipiti in Pokemon are Sludge Bomb, Nasty Plot, Dazzling Gleam, and Taunt.

  • Sludge Bomb should be your go-to Poison-type move to deal massive damage with STAB. Acid Spray is another viable choice, and you shouldn’t worry about using a move to poison opponents thanks to Fezandipiti’s Toxic Chain ability.
  • On the other hand, Dazzling Gleam is a powerful Fairy-type move to deal STAB damage. Alternatively, Moonblast is another interesting option for that slot.
  • Nasty Plot can increase Fezandipiti’s Sp. Attack by two stages to deal even more damage with its STAB moves, and it’s recommenden in almost any build for the Legendary Pokemon.
  • Taunt is an attack that stops opponents from using their own setup moves like Nasty Plot, so you don’t have to worry about being OHKO.

Other good moves for Fezandipiti include Protect, Icy Wind, Roost, and U-Turn.
