How to save your progress in Palworld

Palworld has an autosaving feature that keeps saving your progress every few minutes, so you don’t have to worry about manually saving from time to time. The game does not, however, have manual saving, so there’s no feature that lets you save the game at desired points and reload whenever you want.

You’ll have to rely on the autosaving feature to save your progress as well as achievements, as you can’t turn it off or customize the timing between each autosave. Every time your game is autosaved, an icon will appear at the top of your screen to let you know the game has been saved.

How to safely quit in Palworld

If you want to make sure you’re safely quitting Palworld without any danger of losing your progress, always quit the game using the in-game options. You can either use Return to Title or Exit the Game, which you can access by pressing the escape key.

You’ll have to be careful whenever you’re engaging in short-term activities like boss fights or resource collection, where force-quitting your game without autosaving can force you to restart before the boss fight, or with fewer resources.
