Overwatch 2 features an Endorsement System which allows you to give positive feedback to your teammates. Here’s everything you need to know about how Endorsement works in Overwatch 2, along with how to increase it.

Overwatch 2 provides you with the option to thank your fellow teammates and recognize them for their work after a heated game. This is similar to the Toast feature in MultiVersus but the game goes one step ahead with the Endorsement system.

Not only does this system have the potential to reward you, but it will also help you see the caliber of your team along with its reputation.

So here’s all you need to know about the Endorsement Level system in Overwatch 2.

What is Overwatch 2’s Endorsement Level system?

Next to a player’s name will be a number between 1 and 5, and this is that player’s Endorsement Level. It will increase and decrease based on a number of different factors and is awarded based on feedback given by teammates following an Overwatch 2 match.

If your teammate has a higher Endorsement level, then you know that you’ve got a capable ally who works hard, maybe plays the objective very well, and is generally a stand-up comrade you can rely on.

How to get maximum Endorsement in Overwatch 2?

To achieve a maximum Level 5 Endorsement stat next to your name, you will need to receive regular Endorsements from fellow players after the matches you play.

At the end of a game of Overwatch 2, you have the option to offer out two Endorsements, and it’s only one per player.

Furthermore, you can only give the same player one Endorsement every 12 hours in the game – and it also can’t be awarded to one of your friends or someone in your party.

Keep getting positive Endorsements and it will go up and stay high until it reaches Level 5, but you will need multiple Endorsements per game over many matches.

Endorsement rewards in Overwatch 2

Unlike in the original game, Overwatch 2 rewards players for having great Endorsement by occasionally dishing out Battle Bass XP bonuses.

It’s still unclear how much XP you receive and the conditions required to obtain it, but always bear in mind that getting and maintaining a solid Endorsement level can reward you nicely for merely playing Overwatch 2.

That just about wraps up our Overwatch 2 Endorsement guide. For more on the game, have a look at:
