Are Overwatch 2 servers down?

Overwatch 2’s servers are now live as of August 25, 2023. However, some players have been reporting difficulties with the SMS/Text authenticator method, which hasn’t been functioning properly.

Players have also been searching for how to fix optimization issues that have been freezing Overwatch 2 in the “Playing Now” screen or even updated Battle.net clients that don’t allow the FPS to load correctly.
