For fans attending gamescom in Cologne, Germany on August 20-23, PlayStation has confirmed that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will be playable at the event.

This will be the second only event that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has been playable to the public, with the first being the 2019 CWL Champs event taking place August 16-18.

PlayStation Germany website confirmed that Modern Warfare is part of their lineup for being a playable game at their booth.

Their website, translated, says:

A reincarnation of the “Modern Warfare” series! Perform secret operations alongside special forces and freedom fighters. Make your way past famous European landmarks and through the dangerous regions of the Middle East.

Be one of the first to experience the new Call of Duty experience at gamescom.

It’s not confirmed yet which MP content will be playable at the PS Booth. Activision has showcased the 2v2 mode, 6v6 maps, 10v10 player configurations, and even a 20v20 map. We’re not sure yet if there will be new content on display during gamescom event, but we’ll update as we learn more.

Activision is also confirmed as a publisher to be part of the gamescom Opening Night Live show on August 19 at 11AM PT / 2PM ET.
