Modern Warfare 2 poll reveals number one request for Season 3
After Modern Warfare 2 players voted for the content they’d like to see in the Season 3 update, it’s clear what the playerbase wants from Infinity Ward.
Modern Warfare 2 Season 3 is just around the corner and now that players have experienced all of the content Season 2 and the Reloaded update had to offer, the community is ready for more.
A new season update for Modern Warfare 2 usually means a new Battle Pass, weapons, Operators, and even maps. For the Modern Warfare 2 community, Season 2 was lackluster in its content, especially when it came to new maps, as one of the additions was Museum, a map that was in the beta and meant to arrive with the game at launch.
That said, players are now sharing what they’d like to see in Modern Warfare 2 Season 3, as a Reddit poll held by user gorays21 reveals what the community really wants to see in the new update.
The poll asked players what they “hope for the most” when it comes to the Season 3 update, providing options like more maps, weapons, game modes, and even the “removal of SBMM.”
The results are clear in what the majority of the community clearly feels Season 3 should bring to Modern Warfare 2. Leading the poll with a whopping 1.4k votes is the “more maps” option.
This doesn’t come as much of a surprise, as ultimately, Season 2 only brought one new map to the game in Himmelmatt Expo, which is now also available in Ranked Play.
However, this clearly isn’t enough to satisfy players, as some in the comments of the post are even begging the devs to “please give us a MW2 map.” It’s surprising that we haven’t yet seen a remake of a map from the original Modern Warfare 2, but players know which ones they’d like to see.
One user wrote, “Highrise or Skidrow,” while another agreed that they want “Highrise (and Terminal) so g**damn bad.”
We don’t know much about Season 3 as of right now, but we can assume the content will be similar to previous seasons, so it’s likely a new map or maps will be arriving, but it’s unclear what they will be.
