Modern Warfare 2 players feel Museum already needs a major change

The Museum map has received a ton of love from the Modern Warfare 2 community, but players feel that the map can be improved if the developers implement a major change.

Modern Warfare 2 features plenty of fun multiplayer maps that encourage a variety of different playstyles, including close-range, medium-range, and long-range engagements between players.

The Museum map is one that has been praised by players for its large scale, and players are now suggesting a major change that will make it even more fun to hop into in Modern Warfare 2.

Museum has been designed specifically for 6v6 gameplay, and this is meant to provide players with a more streamlined experience for players to ensure intuitive gameplay. However, Reddit user ‘Thekooperdon’ feels that the number of players on the map should be increased.

In the Modern Warfare 2 subreddit, they claimed that Museum would be “100 times better” if the developers made it into a map for “old school Ground War 12v12” matches due to the large size of the map.

The Redditor explained: “I can run across the whole map and not find a single soul on the enemy team. That’s just a little annoying but it’s good that the map is back. I just wish we still had like 12v12 options for certain maps.”

Many in the thread agreed with this sentiment, feeling that having more players running around the map would make for better matches.

Another player stated that the Museum map is “too big for 6v6” while another added that “even 8v8 would be good.” In another thread, MrQualtrough called for Museum to be made into 10v10 map.

Another user complained about the times that they activated Dead Silence and then just spent the whole time running around looking for enemies until it runs out. Having a Museum be a 10v10 or 12v12 map could fix that issue.

At the time of writing, it remains to be seen if the developers implement any major changes to the number of players that drop into the Museum map. With Season 2 now live, players may have to wait for another seasonal update to see this kind of change.
