Modern Warfare 2 players baffled by new Expo map’s “strange” Domination flags
Himmelmat Expo is Modern Warfare 2 Season 2 Reloaded’s brand-new multiplayer map, but players are baffled by its “strange” flag locations for Domination.
Modern Warfare 2 Season 2 Reloaded gifted players some exciting new content, from the new Tempus Torrent Marksman Rifle to buffs and nerfs and a completely new Raid to enjoy.
As well as this, the new update also introduced a new map into multiplayer — Himmelmat Expo. This new map is set in the Swiss Alps and is medium-to-large-sized. While players learn the layout and master the new map, the community have noticed something off about Himmelmat Expo when playing Domination.
Domination sees two teams fighting for three flags, and usually, two of the flags are placed in the respective spawns for each of the teams. The third B flag is often placed in an area of the map that would be considered a conflict point, often around the middle of the map.
However, players have noticed that this is not the case on Himmelmat Expo, as the B flag is located right next to the A flag’s spawn point, baffling players.
Under CharlieIntel‘s post highlighting the “interestingly placed” Domination flags on Himmelmat Expo, players are sharing their opinions. One comment read, “this map design is a strange one for sure. I wonder how many people spawning C side will quit the game.”
Clearly, players are confused by the flag locations, feeling as if the team spawning on the A side will have an advantage in taking the B flag.
Of course, the team on the C side of the map can attempt to switch spawns to make things easier for them, but players feel things should be fairer in the first place, with one comment even saying that “there’s no way this was tested.”
Players on Reddit are also equally confused with the flag locations on Himmelmat Expo, as one post asks, “what the hell is this Domination setup on the new map!?!?”
Players under the post feel that “c spawners are going to be having a rough time,” while others are plainly calling it “bad flag placement and weird flag order.”
