Madden 24 players slam Thanksgiving-themed promo delay: “It couldn’t get worse”
EA SportsA recent announcement from EA Sports regarding the highly anticipated Thanksgiving-themed promo of Madden 24 did not sit well with the community, and many players are furious with this new delay.
The new Season 3 is already underway in Madden 24. EA Sports added a significant amount of fresh content with new live promos and plenty of rewards to claim through the 60 levels of the revamped Season 3 Field Pass.
Being a mid-November update, one of the standout promos in Madden 24 Season 3 is Ultimate Team Harvest, the traditional Thanksgiving Day event that has been a part of the Madden franchise for over 10 years.
EA Sports recently announced that the second release for the Ultimate Team Harvest event will be postponed to November 30, making the Madden 24 community angry. Madden 24 players will have to wait one week after Thanksgiving day to dive into the second release of Ultimate Team Harvest.
Madden 24 players shocked by Ultimate Team Harvest delay
Several Madden 24 players on Reddit have erupted after learning about this new delay, and now many are wondering, if this is just an “intentionally” bad decision, or “did they forget” about the second Harvest release.
This wouldn’t be the first time that the developers have had to delay an in-game release. A few weeks ago, EA Sports had to postpone the release of the MUT Team of the Week by a few days, and now the second release of the Thanksgiving Day event is facing the same fate.
The Ultimate Team Harvest promo, like the rest of the Madden 24 promos, will release two batches of players with special editions. If they have a great performance during the Turkey Day games, their card statistics will improve automatically. On the other hand, if they don’t have notable performances, the card will remain in its standard format.
Many different opinions emerged within the Reddit post; however, many agree that EA Sports’ work is already “inexcusable” and that they have set the bar “very low” with Madden 24.
