All Madden 24 Ultimate Team new features

The devs have released the Madden 24 Ultimate Team Deep Dive in their blog. In it, they detailed the main new features that will arrive in the most popular mode of the franchise. Below, we will go over each of them, including MUT Seasons, crossplay, the revamped Competitive Pass, and more.

Madden 24 Ultimate Team seasons

The Madden 24 devs have scheduled a total of seven seasons for Madden 24 Ultimate Team. These will be filled with refreshed and new content, such as the Moldbreakers of Gamechangers programs.

With this, EA Sports aim to keep the MUT experience as fresh as possible throughout the year, especially in the post-Super Bowl period.

New Item Catalog in Madden 24 Ultimate Team

With great excitement, the devs announced the new Item Catalog for Madden 24 Ultimate Team. This new feature will assist both experienced and new players in finding the items available in MUT. If a player doesn’t have an item, the catalog will provide information on how to obtain that specific item.

Players also will be able to view any Player Item’s Abilities, AP Cost of Abilities, and Global Usage.

Will Madden 24 Ultimate Team have crossplay?

As confirmed by EA Sports in the trailer reveal, Madden 24 will have crossplay available in Ultimate Team. Starting from this new installment, players will be able to match up against opponents across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

Madden 24 Ultimate Team: The revamped Competitive Pass

The devs announced that they have updated the Madden UT Competitive Pass. While it will continue to focus on Solo Battles, MUT Champs, and H2H Seasons, it will no longer be refreshed bi-weekly.

In Madden 24, the Competitive Pass will start on the first Friday of each new Season and end when that Season concludes. To keep MUT fresh, EA Sports explained that there will be daily, weekly, and season objectives to complete.

Lastly, another significant change in the Competitive Pass will be seen on the exclusive Player Items. Each season will feature two Competitive Pass-exclusive Player Items to chase: the Limited version and the Base one. The base version will be similar to the Madden 23 one. However, the Limited version can only be obtained by the first 1,000 users who reach the required level of the Competitive Pass to claim the Player.
