In The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you can find Diamonds in treasure chests throughout the map, receive them as rewards in Shrines, or purchase them from a vendor in Goron City, where they cost 1,000 rupees each. There’s also a chance to get them through mining large deposits, but it’s pretty rare.

If you want to get your first Diamond quickly, there’s a hidden one beneath Hyrule Castle in the Royal Hidden Passage cave. To reach it easily, follow these steps:

1. Start at the First Gatehouse below Hyrule Castle.
2. Follow the road for a short distance.
3. Look over the ledge towards Hyrule and spot a balcony below.
4. Glide down to reach the balcony.
5. Enter the room where you’ll encounter a guard named Nobiro.
6. To access the passage, use the Ultrahand tool on a floor grate.
7. Drop down into the passage.
