Rockstar Games surprised their community by announcing a partnership with Cfx.re, the dev team behind GTA Online and Red Dead Redemption 2’s most popular RP servers.

The entire Rockstar Games community was delighted by announcing Cfx.re’s devs are now officially part of Rockstar Games. For those who may not be familiar with Cfx.re, it’s the team of devs that have been behind the biggest roleplay servers, FiveM and RedM.

Rockstar mentioned that they “have watched with excitement as Rockstar’s creative community have found new ways to expand the possibilities of Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption 2, particularly through the creation of dedicated roleplay servers.”

Cfx.re also released a statement to their community and they said that this partnership is focused to improve their FiveM and RedM platforms.

Rockstar’s partnership is celebrated by the community

The announcement hyped up both the GTA and Red Dead Online communities, but it’s the GTA roleplayers who have made the most noise in the comments, stating that “this is amazing” and “a big win” mainly thinking about the development of GTA 6.

Finally, a detail from Rockstar’s statement hasn’t gone unnoticed. The GTA and Red Dead Redemption devs concluded the release by mentioning, “We look forward to sharing more in the weeks and months ahead.”

This has stirred up a new commotion in the comments, with people speculating about possible updates regarding GTA 6 or perhaps some announcements about the Red Dead Redemption Remastered rumors.
