The Imaginarium Theatre, a new endgame content, is rumored to be introduced with Genshin Impact 4.7. Here’s everything you need to know about the leaked Abyss.

After much pleading from the players over the years, HoYoverse seems to be gearing up for a brand-new endgame mode for Genshin Impact in the upcoming version 4.7. According to multiple reliable leakers, players can expect the Imaginarium Theatre to be a part of this mode.

Here’s everything leaked about the new Fantasy Realm Epic Poem Abyss.

What is Imaginarium Theatre in Genshin Impact?

Imaginarium Theatre is a leaked endgame mode said to be released on June 5, 2024, with the release of version 4.7. Like the current Spiral Abyss, it’ll reward Primogems and other resources and will be refreshed every certain interval.

Genshin Impact Imaginarium Theatre explained

According to trusted leakers, Imaginarium Theatre will follow a season format, with a new version of the mode to be released every month.

You can access the mode through Lisa’s library in Mondstadt, as detailed by another rumor.

Here’s how brief rundown of how the mode will play, per leaks.

Restrictions

Each season will have a theme that restricts the characters you can pick—there will be six Opening Characters that you must pick and all characters have to belong to 3 Elements (Pyro, Electro, and Anemo for the first season).

The Opening Characters for the first season are Beidou, Wanderer, Chevreuse, Arlecchino, Sayu, and Clorinde. If you do not own these characters, you’ll get a trial version similar to some combat events.

There will also be support characters that you’re not obligated to use, but they all fall outside of these restrictions. Baizhu, Sigewinne, Alhaitham, and Wriothesley are the supporting cast for the first season, and they do not belong to either Pyro, Electro, or Anemo.

Making a team

You’ll need to first pick all 6 Opening Characters and 12 more as backups. For backups, one can be from the support characters, one can be borrowed from your friends, and the rest must be yours but limited to the Element requirement.

Each character will have 2 Vigor, and they’ll lose one when they’re used in a stage. As usual, a single team during combat will be of 4.

Stages

There are allegedly 8 stages, with three of them featuring bosses and the rest having randomized enemies. Bosses in the inaugural season will be Jadeploom TerrorshromCoral Defenders, and Icewind Suite.

The objective within a stage is the same as you’ve seen already, like defeating enemies or protecting a monolith.

Rewards

If you clear a stage in between 75 – 90 seconds, you’ll get a star, and if you have 8 of them in the end, you’ll get 620 Primogems as a reward. You’ll get 1100 Primogems on your first clear, and you can exchange some other rewards for Thespian Tricks, which are just special camera ‘poses’ for the Opening Characters.

That’s everything about the new mode.

Elsewhere, another leak suggested that this mode will have effects on the existing Spiral Abyss as well, as with the introduction of this mode the current Spiral Abyss will refresh only once a month instead of twice.

We’ll update once we learn more about the mode. Until then, for more on the game, check out:
