As revealed by 2K Games on their official X account, Kobe Bryant is the cover athlete of NBA 2K24. The legendary Los Angeles Lakers player will feature on two of the three special edition covers: The Kobe Bryant Edition and Black Mamba Edition of NBA 2K24.
Finally, the NBA 2K24 25th Anniversary Edition doesn’t have a cover athlete.
All new NBA 2K24 features
2K Games is leaping forward with NBA 2K24 by introducing the innovative ProPLAY technology. This cutting-edge technology enhances the gameplay experience, guaranteeing players an unprecedented level of precision in all player’s movements.
Regarding the game modes, the devs revealed the details of the new edition of Moment Challenges. This time called Mamba Moments, players will be able to play as Kobe Bryant and recreate once again the most notable moments in the career of the Los Angeles Lakers legend.
Also, 2K Games announced significant changes to The W, MyNBA, MyTEAM, and MyCAREER game modes, as well as significant changes to the badge system and The City.

NBA 2K24 will be available to play on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox X|S Series, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch. However, crossplay between platforms will only be available for players on PlayStation 5 and Xbox X|S Series consoles.

The price of the NBA 2K24 varies depending on the edition and the console you wish to play on. The Kobe Bryant Edition is priced at $69.99/£69.99 for next-gen consoles the PlayStation 5 & Xbox X|S Series; while for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, the price is $59.99/£59.99.
The Black Mamba Edition costs $99.99/£89.99 for all the available consoles (PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox X|S Series, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch). Finally, the 25th Anniversary Edition is priced at $149.99/£129.99, but is only available on PlayStation 5, Xbox X|S Series, and PC.
