MLB The Show 24 fans call for “more realistic” pitching changes

As we approach the potential MLB The Show 24 reveal date, dedicated players of the sports franchise begin to make the traditional requests to the developers regarding features or updates they want to see in MLB The Show 24.
In this case, Reddit user ‘bobfall69′ shared a post titled “’24 needs a pitching update,” suggesting that Sony should significantly improve the pitching mechanics in the new franchise’ game, especially for fastballs, and the community didn’t take long to respond.
Most players agreed that the new MLB The Show 24 needs a pitching update; however, they differ with the OP that fastballs are the real problem.
Many point out that the major issue when pitching lies with curveballs. One user was concise in their comment: “Curveballs need a buff cause they are useless,” and another user added, “They need to ‘snap’ more. If you’ve played baseball, curveballs don’t travel in a continuous slow loops.”
However, that doesn’t seem to be the only issue. Other players suggest that they should balance the pitching stamina. One user simply doesn’t understand “why pitchers get tired after 3-4 pitches?” in 3-inning games when ” in 9-inning games, pitchers can throw 111 pitches before they run out of energy.”
But 9-inning games aren’t perfect either. User ‘Playhorror4real’ remarked, “Also, the pitching needs to be more realistic and come back down to Earth. 103-104 mph for 9 innings is just dumb.”
Finally, all players agree that nerfing pitching is something that has been happening since MLB The Show 21 when pitching was “overpowered,” but in the ’23 edition, they went too far in some aspects. However, the community hopes that devs read this feedback and can improve the pitching experience in MLB The Show 24.
