Rise of the Ronin is a narrative-driven, action-adventure RPG from the developers behind Nioh. The title has primarily been advertised for PS5, leading players to wonder whether it is available on Xbox. With this in mind, here’s everything to know about Rise of the Ronin on Xbox consoles.

Team Ninja, the acclaimed studio behind Nioh, have now taken on the open-world RPG genre with Rise of the Ronin.

Set in 19th-century Japan, the game lets players assume the role of a Ronin caught in a war between the Tokugawa Shogunate and the anti-shogunate factions. In terms of gameplay, the title features many RPG staples such as character creation, branching story paths, multiple dialogue options, and more.

Its stylized visuals and free-flowing combat have attracted the attention of many players, with some wondering about its availability on Xbox. On that note, here’s everything to know about Rise of the Ronin on Xbox consoles.

Is Rise of the Ronin on Xbox?

No, Rise of the Ronin will not be coming to Xbox consoles anytime soon as the title is a PS5 exclusive. The game‘s exclusivity to Sony’s console was confirmed back in 2022 through its reveal trailer, and it also isn’t available on PC.

This may come as a surprise to players as Team Ninja’s previous title, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, arrived on Xbox as a day-one Game Pass release. However, it’s worth noting that both Nioh games initially launched as PS4 exclusives, and aren’t present on Xbox to this date. They did arrive on PC later, and that could be the case for Rise of the Ronin as well.

Of course, there’s always the off-chance that the devs deliver an Xbox port in the future. Although, these chances are certainly quite slim.
