Is Resident Evil 4 Remake coming to Nintendo Switch?
Nintendo Switch players are wondering if they will be getting the glorious Resident Evil 4 Remake on the portable device, here’s the answer.
The Resident Evil 4 Remake landed on March 24 for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC, receiving resounding reviews and praise. Players have had time to sink their teeth into the main story and additional content that the game provides, such as Merchant Requests, Accessory unlocks, and more.
While the game is accessible on most platforms, including the Steam Deck, unfortunately, the game did not release on the Nintendo Switch.
Now, Switch players are wondering if they will ever see the Resident Evil 4 Remake on the portable device.

At the time of writing, the Resident Evil 4 Remake is not available on the Switch and Capcom haven’t released any plans to bring the title to the portable device.
The Resident Evil 4 Remake is a next-gen experience that requires more advanced hardware than the Switch currently has. The graphical fidelity is just too much for the Nintendo Switch, as even players on PS5 had performance issues.
It’s lucky that the game is available on the PlayStation 4, as it isn’t actually available on the Xbox One due to its high hardware demands.
That said, the 2005 original Resident Evil 4 is available on the Switch, which might be enough to cure your portable Resident Evil needs. Capcom do have a great relationship with Nintendo when it comes to having games on their platforms, so perhaps we’ll see a cloud version of the game on the device much like the Resident Evil 2 and 3 Remakes on Switch.
