Tekken 8 is one of the most highly anticipated fighting games, and players finally get the chance to experience it early with the Closed Network Test, so here’s how to register and play, as well as the characters available.

Fighting games are making a triumphant return with many of the genre’s most popular franchises releasing titles in 2023 such as Street Fighter 6 and Mortal Kombat 1.

Tekken is one of the most popular fighting game franchises out there, but fans haven’t seen a new title from Bandai Namco for some years. Fans have been eagerly awaiting news on Tekken 8, which despite being confirmed and releasing some character trailers, is yet to receive a release date.

Now, the devs have released a Closed Network Test for Tekken 8, which gives players an early experience with the game on PS5, Xbox, and PC, including the pick of 16 characters. Here’s how you can register and play the Tekken 8 Closed Network Test.

How to sign up for Tekken 8 Closed Network Test

To register for the Tekken 8 Closed Network Test, simply follow these steps:

  1. Visit the Tekken 8 Closed Network Test website.
  2. Log in or create an account.

  4. Validate the selection.
  5. You have now signed up for the test. Await an email to confirm your selection and more details.

Unfortunately, if you did not sign up, you will not be able to participate, as sign-ups are no longer available.

The Closed Network Test is said to be a time for the devs to “evaluate the network’s quality,” as well as offer fans an early experience with the “new battle system and tactics; aerial combos; new gen graphics; and destructive and interactive stages.”
