Notably, a major query that has been circulating among players is whether or not this much-awaited title will grace Nintendo’s hybrid console, the Switch.

Let’s find out if Street Fighter 6 is coming to the Nintendo Switch.

Will Street Fighter 6 be on the Nintendo Switch?

Capcom confirmed that Street Fighter 6 will not be available on the Nintendo Switch.

Previously, Capcom kept their cards close to their chest, not revealing too much about which platforms would host Street Fighter 6. This left gamers speculating and second-guessing about its availability on various consoles, including the Switch.

The Street Fighter 6 release date is slated for June 2, and Capcom continue to provide additional information concerning the new title. We now know that Street Fighter 6 will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

Street Fighter 6 is the seventh main entry in the iconic franchise.

Looking at past patterns, it’s worth noting that Street Fighter 5 did not launch on the Nintendo Switch. The game was a PlayStation 4 console exclusive, also available on PC. This time around Street Fighter is coming to Xbox consoles as well, but remains unavailable on the Switch.

Capcom released the 30th Anniversary Collection of Street Fighter on the Switch, which included 12 classic titles from the series. This move was met with a positive response from Switch users. However, it failed to make Capcom consider the platform for future releases.
