The Stellar Blade demo will become available for every PlayStation 5 player who wants to explore its apocalyptic universe before its full release. Here’s everything on how to download the Stellar Blade’s demo.

Stellar Blade is getting ready for its full release in less than a month, and Shift Up Corp has invited players to take the game for a test run in a recent PlayStation Blog post.

In this demo, players will be able to explore the beginning of the story while following Eve, the protagonist who has been the central figure of the debate regarding Shift Up Corp’s chosen aesthetics.

Stellar Blade demo release date & time

The Stellar Blade demo will be available for free on March 29, 2024, from 7 AM PDT/ 2 PM GMT. Shift Up Corp confirmed that the game will remain a PlayStation 5 exclusive, and will also allow players to carry over their save data when the full game releases on April 26, 2024.

How to play Stellar Blade’s demo

If you want to play the Stellar Blade demo on your PS5, you can look for it in the PlayStation Store demo section after it releases. Here are the steps you need to follow:

  1. Look for the PlayStation Store app on your PS5 main menu.
  2. After entering, click on the Search icon.
  3. Look for the Stellar Blade demo available on March 29, 2024.
  4. Enter the game’s hub, and click on the three-dot menu.
  5. Select the “Demo” version and start downloading.

Stellar Blade demo was spotted briefly on the US PlayStation Store before Sony took it off. While it’s unofficial, players who allegedly downloaded it stated it weighed in more than 16 GB.

Stellar Blade expected demo content

According to the Director of Stellar Blade, Hyung Tae Kim, the Stellar Blade demo will let players follow Eve, the main character and a member of the 7 Airborne Squad up to the first boss fight.

So, the demo will include the tutorial, which allows players to explore a bit of post-war Eidos 7, a human city infested by the Naytiba, and some of its early moments.

Players from all over the world will be able to experience Stellar Blade in most languages since the demo will be available in Korean, English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, and Latin American Spanish.

The Stellar Blade demo will also come with subtitles for Korean, English (US), French, Italian, German, Spanish, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Swedish, Arabic, Turkish, Thai, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese.
